Modern Family Garden in Cheadle Hulme

The inspiration for this garden was drawn from our client’s desire to create a modern and contemporary garden whilst incorparating as much green space as possible.

The Process

The first issue to address was the height from the patio doors to the ground level of the old patio after the newly installed extension. We raised the patio by a foot and installed two steps underneath the patio doors. Our clients did not want a patio which would take away too much of their green space, so we built retaining walls to house some plants. Front and centre between the two beds we installed steps which lead to the lower area of the garden where we laid a new lawn and freshly planted beds completing the transformation of this beautiful outside space.
